To celebrate the tenth anniversary of New Forces we are excited to reissue an album from the label's first batch of releases. At the time, Koufar's "The Death of Myself" represented the closing of the project's first chapter. A sonic requiem delivered at maximum volume. The innovative blend of classical samples and abrasive vocal exhortations carved out a unique position in contemporary power-electronics. Content focused on the politics and history of Lebanon eschewed genre tropes for something greater, injected with the artists personal experience. Over time Koufar's influence on the genre has grown, and these recordings are once more available, fully remastered by Grant Richardson with new art and two additional bonus tracks: one unique to this CD, the other previously included on the "The League of the Divine Wind" compilation.
*please note that items are more expensive on Bandcamp to account for the higher fees. Physical items can be obtained for a cheaper price on the New Forces bigcartel store, where you can also find a selection of distributed titles not available on Bandcamp.

Demonically distorted Reagan speeches with polymorphous avant-garde noise background fucking hell yes. This shit sounds like soundscape from festering ultra-neofascist dystopian future experienced through some futuristic combination drug. Amazing and unique stuff! 𝙅𝙤𝙚 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙡𝙡
